An example is OMB published on 4/15 was indicated as OMB instead of OMB PRB. This issue has been found and corrected, we have regenerated the files for the month of April and which may be redownloaded as needed. Gaps detected at 11:03 and 11:15 on PDP multicast products At 11:03 and 11:15, several NYSE PDP products have experienced network gaps resulting in a loss of data packets. Channels "CC and "BB""of the OpenBook Ultra feed had to be restarted due to a hardware issue. As a result of the lack of data transmitted on the affected channels, there was an overflow of retransmission requests to the network which caused other PDP products to also be impacted. The OpenBook Ultra service is being restarted.

Product Updates: FTP2 IP Changes

FTP2 IP Changes Dear Customer. In order to provide better network service we are changing the ISP for our ftp server in Weehawken, NJ. The server is ftp2east.nyxdata.com, it also one of the two servers defined for ftp2.nyxdata.com. This means that IP will be changing from 72.37.131.125 to 74.201.153.241 The old IP will be deprecated but still active and accepting connections until we are confident that our customers have been able to make the appropriate changes. That means that there will be no interruption of FTP sessions and connections to the deprecated IP will be honored. We plan to change the DNS A records for the above servers on the morning of Dec 19th. Customers will still be able to connect to the deprecated IP, only DNS resolved connections will go to the new IP. The new IP is currently active, please check that you have connectivity and consult your appropriate network/firewall team if changes need to be made. Our objective is shutdown the old IP by Jan 30th of this year but this is subject to review. Migration of NYSE Liffe Market Data ATTENTION NYSE LIFFE MARKET DATA RECIPIENTS: CME/CBOT’s legacy QVN platform will be decommissioned on March 27, 2009. Vendors and recipients of NYSE Liffe market data will be required to migrate to the Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure (SFTI) network by February 2, 2009. 1. Background On September 8, Gold and Silver products were successfully transitioned to the NYSE Liffe exchange, NYSE Euronext’s new U.S. futures market. The addition of these contracts complements NYSE Euronext’s existing derivatives business, which includes a broad range of equities, financials and commodity products. The contracts are: •100 oz Gold futures; •5,000 oz Silver futures; •Mini-sized Gold futures; •Mini-sized Silver futures; •100 oz Gold futures options; •5,000 oz Silver futures options. Market data for these precious metals contracts is currently made available from the CME’s legacy Quote Vendor Network (QVN) platform which will cease operation on March 27, 2009. 2. The system did not publish sales in Tape A securities (NYSE-listed) from any exchange in the security symbol range ''''A'''' through ''''L''''. The New York Stock Exchange has provided to the Consolidated Tape System all of its opening prints in the affected symbols, and the Consolidated Tape System has added these prints to the tape with an ''''N'''' exchange modifier, and an ''''OPD'''' trade modifier (indicating an out-of-sequence, opening trade). A file will be posted to the website shortly containing all NYSE opening trades. A subsequent message will be sent out at that time. Please note that different vendors will process trades marked with ''''OPD'''' differently for VWAP calculations. For example, Bloomberg will include these trades in its VWAP calculation while Thomson Reuters may not. Reminder - Short Interest schedule change takes effect Thursday July 10th. Dear Customer, FINRA announced a change to short interest scheduling several months ago, to the effect that NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ all report short interest on the same day. They accomplished this by adjusting the NYSE publishing date to be the same as NASDAQ''s schedule. As such, we are in the first cycle of this new process and the release date for the current cycle is July 10th and not July 7th. In addition, FINRA has automated the delivery of the data to NYSE therefore we hope to pass on a more robust and consistent delviery of the data than was possible in the past. Reminder - Short Interest schedule change takes effect Thursday July 10th. Dear Customer, FINRA announced a change to short interest scheduling several months ago, to the effect that NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ all report short interest on the same day. They accomplished this by adjusting the NYSE publishing date to be the same as NASDAQ''''s schedule. As such, we are in the first cycle of this new process and the release date for the current cycle is July 10th and not July 7th. In addition, FINRA has automated the delivery of the data to NYSE therefore we hope to pass on a more robust and consistent delviery of the data than was possible in the past. Customers who were listening to the Test IP addresses should switch to the Production Multicast IP addresses as specified in the Specification. NYSE Order Imbalances significantly increases transparency around the NYSE Opening and Closing auctions, and provides rich information to customers allowing them to better manage their strategies and improve the quality of our auctions. Streaming order imbalances are disseminated at specified time intervals prior to the 9:30am Opening and the 4:00pm Closing auctions. Imbalance messages will contain the imbalance and paired share quantity at a specified reference price. Source IP changes and Summary changes for NYSE ProTrac effective March 17, 2008 For NYSE ProTrac customers who apply firewall filters on actual server source IPs - Effective March 17, 2008 the following source IPs for the NYSE ProTrac product will no longer be available: 198.140.59.105 and 198.140.58.105 In addition to the source IP changes, the NYSE ProTrac product will be changing the execution type values in MsgType 182 “ProTrac Execution Summary” message to match the Program Trading account type definition changes. Old Values: ‘4’ – Index Arb Execution Summary ‘5’ – Non-Index Execution Summary New Values: ‘4’ – Index Arb Execution Summary ‘5’ – Algorithmic Execution Summary ‘6’ – Non-Algorithmic Execution Summary The ProTrac EOD Summary file will also be changed to reflect the Program Trading account type definition changes. ArcaBook for Equities Multicast: Refresh feed is unavailable on 2/5/08 for the entire day Due to an operational issue this morning there will be no refresh data available on the ArcaBook for Equities multicast feed. The refresh feed will be unvailable for the entire trading day. Production data on both Primary and Secondary feeds are not affected. Retransmissions feeds and requestes are also not affected. The ArcaBook Refresh feed is for refreshes to the Order Book, Imbalances, Symbol Mappings, and Firm Mappings in response to the refresh request message. The data sent down the Refresh channel provides a current snapshot of the data. For example, customers can receive all open orders for specific symbols by issuing a refresh request via TCP/IP and then listening to the refresh group for the updated book messages. ArcaBook Multicast for Equities ‘A’ and ‘B’ Multicast channels will be synchronized on 2/4/08 Attached is the latest documentation for the ArcaBook Equities multicast datafeed to coincide with our Feb 4th Multicast release. The following are highlights of changes to our Multicast Spec. In addition, you will find that the ‘A’ and ‘B’ Multicast channels will be synchronized. ArcaBook Multicast for Equities is available in both a FAST compacted and native binary format. This new feed offers several advantages over the legacy ArcaBook TCP/IP feed. It is faster, more reliable, and requires less bandwidth than the existing TCP/IP version. Based on current capacity projections, the legacy ArcaBook product is no longer capable of handling the increasing message traffic rates. Transitioning to multicast has allowed the product to scale more effectively to handle increases in message traffic and deliver data simultaneously to customers without the potential queuing that would experienced with a TCP/IP feed. In addition to the bandwidth and latency savings, the new multicast feed contains enriched data that is not available in the legacy feed. Customers are advised to transition to the ArcaBook Multicast for Equities Feed. There is no additional charge for this feed. The legacy TCP/IP ArcaBook feed is tentatively scheduled to be decommissioned in July 2008 and will not continue be supported.

Testing The test environment is currently up and reflects data that is sent in our order entry test environment. Please connect to our test environment to conduct functional testing only. Capacity and throughput testing would be available via the production environment.
