NYSE Broker Volume®
NYSE Broker Volume provides a summarized ranking of executed volume in each NYSE-traded security by entering (or introducing) member firm.  NYSE Broker Volume information is available daily on a T+1 basis and in a monthly summary from NYSE directly or through authorized data vendors.
  
NYSE offers its Broker Volume product in two ways:

  • Broker Volume Database ($3000/mo.) - available directly from NYSE, provides access to "raw data" via a daily and monthly database of all NYSE Broker Volume information. Receipt of this product requires Vendor registration.
     
  • Broker Volume Web ($300/Mo.) - provides online access to NYSE Broker Volume information through online inquiry. Reports can be generated daily, monthly, month-to-date, quarterly and for a six month trailing period. Other features include block trading, reports by firm, sector, index and custom portfolio.

  
Member Firm Participation
Member firm participation is OPTIONAL. Member Firms must register with the NYSE in order to participate. Participation is free of charge. Methodology
The executed share information is gathered and compiled by the NYSE through reading the "entering firm mnemonic" field that is contained on every system order (SuperDot order) that is entered and subsequently executed.  For non-system orders that are executed, the NYSE will read the "entering firm" field that is contained on the comparison (OCS) input. Non-system orders that do not include an entering firm mnemonic will not be included. Instructions and specifications for OCS submissions are provided to each participant.
  

Note: NYSE Broker Volume Activity is published in aggregate. Total buy and sell volume will be totaled for each participating member firm. No clearing activity or specialist (dealer) volume is included, only executed volume for each participating entering (introducing) member firm.
  
Broker Volume Database
Broker Volume Database contains aggregate volume executed by each participating member firm for each NYSE-traded security.  Learn more about NYSE Broker Volume Database
  
Broker Volume Web

As part of a promotion, the NYSE has been authorized to provide Broker Volume Web service to subscribers free of charge for 30-days. This promotion is available for a limited time and can only be provisioned once for each subscriber. After 30-days each active subscriber to this service will be charged a fee of $300 per month.
