Symbol Session Range? |

In the Arca Fast spec, the suggested way to map a symbol is:
session id * session offset + symbol index.
The spec uses the value 8000 for the session offset. Where does this value (8000) originate? Is it simply arbitrarily chosen to be a value high enough to ensure a unique value is always generated? |
