1) Can the constituents be selected from NYSE Composite Index components' file?
a) If so, which fields (values) would indicate that a constituent belongs to Alerian MLP Index or NYSE ARCA Technology 100 Index?
b) If not, how can we determine what the components of these indexes are?

2) How many indices NYSE has issued? At the moment I am aware of 10 (8 on www.nyseindexes.com, NYSE Alerian MLP Index and NYSE ARCA Technology 100 Index). Are there any more?

1)The NYSE Technology 100 index is listed as NYSE TMT on the following web address http://www.nyse.com/marketinfo/indexes/nyyid.shtml. You can click on components to view the makeup of the index. As Far as the Alerian MLP Index, the symbol is AMZ. The NYSE Composite Index components file only provides the components for the NYA and its divisors. It does not have information on the other NYSE listed indices as we do not control what securities the index is comprised of. In the case of Alerian, Standards & Poors would be able to provide you with the components of the MLP index. As the primary exchange we are obligated to disseminate the following static value such as total shares outstanding etc, but not the components of the indexes since we do not control them.

2)The NYSE has issued 7 indices along with the NYA Composite. The other indexes you may see are NYSE listed but are not created by the NYSE. They are created by companies such iShares, Powershares, Barclays etc.
