Recently you published a recommendation to increase bandwidth to 75mbps from 40mbps. What is the minimum data rate that can be used without loss of data? How long are the intervals during which the data rate reaches 75mbps? Is 75mbps the aggregate data rate for all multicast groups?

We were assuming 75mbps was only a requirement to prevent adding latency due to possible retransmissions. Our application is always subscribed to the retransmission server. We subscribe to the refresh server only for the first 3 minutes after startup (since we may start up after market open and we resync using the refresh server).

75 mbps is the minimum. The recommended bandwidth is actually 125 mbps. The reason for this is that ArcaBook tends to spike quite frequently, so the average might be 60 mbps, but during the day it will hit capacities that are much higher. The increase was actually to prevent queuing. Refreshes average 32.5 mbps per refresh.

I hope this answers your questions.

Thank you,
