I was excited to see the RetransFlag expanded in v 5.2 of the spec. When reading section 5.2 and applying it to section 5.17, I expected Symbol Index Mapping Messages to come in like:
‘8’ – Only one packet in update
or
‘7’ – Start of Update
‘5’ – Refresh Retransmission
‘5’ – Refresh Retransmission
‘5’ – Refresh Retransmission
‘9’ – End of Update
but instead I see
‘8’ – Only one packet in update
at the end of the updates (see example below). Is this what we should always expect? Thanks.

The spec is incorrect.
it should be.
‘5’ – Refresh Retransmission
‘7’ – Start of Update
‘8’ – End of Update
‘9’ – Only one packet in update
8 and 9 are reverse.

The spec is incorrect.
A flag that indicates whether this is an original, retransmitted, or
'replayed' message. Valid values include:
'1' - Original message
'2' - Retransmitted message
'5' - Refresh Retransmission
'6' - Failover Retransmission
'7' - Start of Update
'8' - End of Update
'9' - Only one packet in update
8 should be the end of update and 9 should be only one in update.
