Are symbols remapped daily? Are they ever remapped once an index is assigned? What happens when "listed" goes to 5 lines vs the current 4? will the symbol mapping be flushed and remapped then?

Symbol are remapped daily. Once an index is assigned for the day it does not change if there an intra-day symbol addition or deletion. In the future we are looking at keeping the symbol mapping static

Since the symbol to index mappings change daily, are they sent over the main feed before any significant book actions or are they only available upon request via the symbol mapping feed stream.

Does a daily request of symbol mapping count against the quota of allowed requests per day??

The index mappings are changed daily and they are sent out over the main feed. They are also available upon request by sending a symbol index refresh request. A request of the symbol mapping does not count against the quota of allowed retransmission messages per day.

Why can't you make symbol mappings permanent?

If a symbol retransmission request is sent to the primary retransmission server with UDP as the transmission method, is the retransmission sent on both the primary and secondary symbol mapping multicast groups are is it sent on the primary multicast group only.
