I got a report from our Development folks that they suspect that ARCA is bursting above their recommended bandwidth lately. Just what has the 1 second peaks been in ARCABook feed combined? Chris Victor eSignal |

Please ensure that you are using these rates as a basis for examination:

What rates have you seen? If they exceed the rates on the page above I can refer this to the capacity analysis group.

We are seeing something similar. From the v2.4 spec, and the more recent updates on http://www.nysedata.com/nysedata/Support/CapacityEstimates/DatafeedCapacityEstimates/tabid/474/Default.aspx the expectartion was for traffic in the 20Mbps - 30Mbps range. We are seeing spikes upwards of 50Mbps which is far more than anticipated and causing capacity issues - we are trying to avod a circuit upgrade. We had thought that perhaps Refresh was enabled ort other traffic was on the feed we did not expect, but investigations suggest that is not the case. I would be interested to know whether anyone else is seeing the same kind of thing ? |
