Maximum Message Rate is 4200 MPS Maximum Packet Size is 1400 bytes Maximum Number of Messages in a Day are 113,400,000 Our bandwith recommendation is 2 to 4 Mbps •The maximum message rate may be sustained for a couple of minutes. •The numbers are based on all feeds added. •The message size corresponds to the DataFeed message size, without the TCP and IP headers. •There is only 1 message per packet. •There maybe more than 1 quote per message |

There is something that does not make sense.
How can you recommend only 4 Mbps (megabits per second) when the peak rate is 4200 MPS (messages per second).
4200 messages per second * 1400 bytes per message (plus overhead) * 8 bits per byte = 47 Mbps
In other words, it seems to me that 4 Mbps limits the feed to 4e6/8/1400 = 357 messages per second.
Please clarify. |

| No, its 1400 bytes per packet and each packet can have 20 messages. If each message is approximately 60 bytes, asumming we send 20 messages per packet and a rate of 4200mps we would send 210 packets per second. So 1400*210*8 bits per byte is about 2.3 Mbps. |
