Hi,
One of my application (which run on Linux) requires analysis of Market Data for NYSE Multicast for equities. For this, I downloaded the document ArcaBook_Multicast_Spec_2_4.pdf and started connecting to NYSE Multicast network using our application. Though, we are getting all relevant Market data but our data is not able to capture "SYMBOL INDEX MAPPING MESSAGE" which is showing is document as Message type == 35. Because of this, we are unable to map respective symbols.

My queries are as follows.

1. We are using Multicast address as Source.MulticastAddr.ARCA_LISTED_AC=eth2;224.1.2.128:13000|eth3;224.1.2.168:14000
What could be possible reason for my application unable to capture Symbol Index Mapping message though others data are captured?
2. We also tried retransmission of SYMBOL INDEX MAPPING MESSAGE using TCP/IP connection IP address 63.211.73.14:52001 but connection couldn't be
established. We alto tried ping 63.211.73.14 but result shows "Host unable to reach or Host Unreachable".
Could you please help me to find the correct IP address inorder to make request for "SYMBOL INDEX MAPPING MESSAGE ".

Thanks in advance
Barun

Barun,
You should start reading mcast at midnight. Sometimes you will get "symbol index mapping messages" a few minutes after midnight, sometimes a few hours, but as long as u start reading at midnight, u should be fine.
